("MCA"), a Dallas-based Holding Company, which Richard Sapio Dallas founded 15 years ago, in March 1994. After a 6-year investment banking career, and after making Partner of Barre & Company, Inc., Richard Sapio started MCA to make opportunistic investments in private companies, intellectual properties, and real estate. MCA has more than 40 direct and indirect holdings; which include a merchant bank - Mutual Capital Partners, a private-equity fund - Mutual Capital Partners Fund I, a distressed loan-acquisition business - Peterson, Goldman & Villani, Inc., and, a nurse staffing agency - Quality Care Professionals, Inc. MCA also has several commercial real estate holdings.

Richard Sapio Dallas founded the USA Mutuals family of mutual funds in 2001 as a wholly-owned subsidiary of MCA. It has 3 publicly-traded mutual funds. In 2005, Richard Sapio co-founded Astoria Partners, a private investment partnership, which has made 7 investments to date in private companies and distressed real estate. Richard Sapio is an active LP in Scientific Health Development, which invests primarily in medical-device companies.

Richard Sapio earned a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey. Richard Sapio was President, and served for 7 years on the Board of the Dallas Chapter of the Entrepreneurs Organization ("EO"). Richard Sapio Dallas is also the founder of the YPO/EO Dallas Mentorship Program, which went national in 1999. Richard Sapio is the co-author of the yet-to-be-published (and 5-year passion), "Financial Fitness - 6 Steps to Achieving a Long-Term Wealth Consciousness". Richard Sapio is the co-Founder and 3-year Chairman of MIT's Gathering of Titans Program. Richard Sapio serves in the role of past-President of The Dallas Roundtable. He also serves on the Advisory Committee and is an active donor for The Entrepreneurs Foundation of North Texas. One of Richard Sapio's passions is learning, and he is in his 5th year at The Stagen Leadership Institute, currently in the Graduate Leadership Program. Richard Sapio lives in Dallas, Texas with his wife, Melissa, and their son, Luke.
